It’s hard to believe how quickly December is cruising by. And stilllll so many people to shop for! And at this time of the month, there’s math involved: When will I get to the mall? How quickly can I rewrap it and get it back out? If I don’t rush shipping will they get it on time?
My advice? Stop the stress. There are a handful of genius digital-only services that make it easy to knock out all your holiday gifting needs straight from your phone. Gift list, handled.
Artifact Uprising
You’re already familiar with the luxe—and Instagram-worthy—quality of Artifact Uprising’s products (we featured them in our beautiful holiday gift card post), but did you know you can create a photo album in minutes using nothing more than their app? Simply pull pics straight from your smartphone’s camera roll and click to buy. And if a photo album feels like too much work, choose from a range of alternative (and equally beautiful) photo gifts from their wood calendars to their gallery frames.
Gyft
You can’t go wrong with a gift card, but even running to the store to grab one can be tough to pull off when holiday schedules are at their peak. Gyft lets you choose from hundreds of gift card options like Target, Amazon and more, then email it straight to the recipient’s inbox with a personalized video or text message. (Bonus: It also makes it a cinch to keep track of gift card balances—a major money-saver for anyone prone to losing the plastic cards.)
Zeel
An on-demand massage. Mic drop! Gift a treatment—redeemable via Zeel’s app—and a top-notch massage therapist will show up at your door to help you work out all that pent up holiday stress. The recipient can choose their favorite treatment, ranging from Swedish to deep tissue. There’s even the option to book a prenatal or couples massage. The service is bookable 365 days a year between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. (And rest assured, all therapists are ID-verified so you can be sure they’re safe to have over).
Minibar
Nothing says “happy holidays” like a bottle of Prosecco (at least not to me!). All hail the app that allows you to send it straight to someone’s door in just a couple of taps. Minibar lets you enter the delivery address, add bottles of booze (or bubbly) to your cart, then have it delivered in 30 to 60 minutes or less. A nice move when you’re invited to someone’s home to celebrate the holidays, or a NYE fete. Of course, location matters. (Right now, one-hour delivery is available in select cities ranging from New York to LA with more coming soon.) The best part: You can even schedule a shipment up to 14 days in advance. Cue the gift-giving peace of mind.
BloomThat
The bottom line: Flowers are a win-win, no matter the time of year. Download the app and choose from fresh and seasonal arrangements that look like they fell right out of a Pinterest page. What’s great is that the blooms you see on-screen are the ones you actually get, in addition to text message notifications to alert you that your flowers have been sent and received. This means no eleventh hour worries about holiday deliveries gone missing— phew!
MoviePass
Perfect for people who love seeing movies in the theaters but could do without the soaring price tag: This app allows you to gift an all-you-can-watch movie pass for $9.95/month, usable at over 4,000 theaters across the United States, no blackout dates. (Not good for 3D movies or IMAX, FYI.) Simply send an e-gift card subscription for either 3, 6 or 12 months, and the recipient can activate it via the app and see one movie per calendar day.
