Gift guide week continues, and this one’s full of holiday gifts for kids! This list is all about balance: Tech-fueled fun, mixed with stuff to help your kiddos get off their screens and enjoy some analog fun (like playing with plastic bacon, or making chocolate molds in the shape of video game controllers!). Personally, I’m all about the toxin-free shampoo and conditioner, and the build-your-own computer kit. Your kids can build their own computer. Crazy.
The “It” gift right now has got to be the Sphero BB-8… an app-enabled droid resembling a new Star Wars character. It’s been sold out everywhere, but you should be able to find it before the holidays. Sphero and I are giving away their SPRK toy today, so be sure and enter to win the Sphero SPRK in the widget at the bottom of the post. The smalls in your life with thank you. (Oh, and did you enter to win the TiVo we’re giving away from yesterday’s post? There’s still plenty of time to enter: do that now!).
Up tomorrow: Gifts for the ladies in your life. Then we end the week with picks under $100 and under $25. Good tidings!
