THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED.
Every night I go to bed, resolved to turn over a new leaf when it comes to eating right. And by lunchtime I’ve blown it. By dinner I’m scheming and planning for tomorrow’s triumph… and then I’m polishing off some french toast, shaking my head.
Maybe it’s the french fries talking, but sometimes I feel like getting my eating habits in order is hopeless. I guess it’s not all bad: Some days, I’m having a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a salmon and veggies for dinner. Hashtag: Winning! Other days, it’s a mess: Breakfast is wolfed-down burrito… second breakfast is a muffin… hightailing it through drive thru for lunch and ordering (a little too much) Chinese for dinner. Hashtag: Sad.
Here’s the thing: I love to eat. There are few things I’d rather do more than slurp a big bowl of pasta, chase it down with some garlic bread, and follow it up with a cannoli or two. And here’s the other thing: If I’m going to “eat better”, it’s got to be by adopting a discipline (notice I didn’t use the word “diet) that’s fun, and not too complicated. And fun.
Today, I’m giving away a tool that fits the bill, and I’ve used it to make sense of the often-complicated world of measuring food portions. It’s a connected kitchen scale called Bite.
Install it’s app on your iPhone or iPad, and you can take accurate measurements, ensuring you’re not adding unnecessary calories to dinner. You also get nutritional facts based on the food placed on the scale (so you know exactly how many calories are in that piece of camembert), and it makes easy work of logging your daily intake because it knows exactly what you’ve eaten.
We’ve got TWO of these for you in today’s giveaway (have you been entering every day?) and there will be one more giveaway tomorrow that you don’t wanna miss. Good luck, and happy eating!
