I’ve never been big on celebrating St. Patrick’s Day… there’s no catholic or Irish in my blood, so it always seemed a little off limits, even though like many holidays it’s become just as much about iconic imagery as it is about anything religious (Shamrock Shake, anyone?). Lately however, it’s charm is winning me over— I just learned why you get pinched on St. Patrick’s Day, and it’s adorable! Sorry I’m a bit late to the game: Did you know that revelers thought that wearing green made one invisible to leprechauns, so these creatures would pinch anyone they could see (not wearing green). I mean, how cute is that? I’m sold.
