I’m kicking off a series called Admired, where I get to profile my favorite business crushes, feature the beautiful things they make, and make them spill the beans on all their tech secrets.
Good things come in small packages, a concept that 4’10” Kathryn Hribar embraces. She creates tiny, functional ceramics in her 520-square-foot studio in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles. Her line, Funsize Ceramics, is carried at large websites like Scoutmob, but also in a Pasadena shop aptly named Tiny Universe. Funsize includes adorable products like mini butter crocks, espresso cups and vases. Scroll past all these beautiful pictures, and read Hribar’s tech Q&A, which surprisingly included mention of an enormous boom box.

Hello, my name is Kathryn and I’m an Instagram junkie.
Does my DVR list count?
Apple or Android?
Favorite time management tool?
The timer app on my iPhone. I use it every time I slipcast a piece in my studio.
Vintage gadget you miss from your youth?
I miss the days of my giant boom box, endless CDs and cassettes, with no Pandora ads.
