When you think of gadgets as gifts, the phrase “budget-friendly” doesn’t exactly come to mind. Is it possible to wow your techy friends and still have money left over for sugar cookies? I say a resounding, “you bet.” There are lots of tech gifts under $100 that are as useful, fun, and perfect for everyone on your list, including an especially cool kids gift that is sure to earn you the title of favorite grandparent, aunt or uncle. I’m back on the Today Show this morning at 10AM ET and PT with Kathie Lee and Hoda (my ladies!) to share my favorites with them— many of which are already en route to my own friends and family this year.
You made your list and checked it twice… or did you? Turns out, you still have a few gifts left to buy and it’s down to the wire. Not to worry! I’ve found five perfect, last-minute tech gifts. Even better, they’re all at Staples, where you can grab ’em and go within minutes (or they can be shipped straight from the store). While you’re there, you can even pick up a binder or two for your holiday photos! Here are my fast five final presents:
As the weather gets brisk, it’s time to layer up. Your tech wants to be toasty too.

If you’re anything like me, this holiday season has taken you by complete surprise… just like it did last year and the year before that. Honestly, why is it that every year, around mid-November, I feel so prepared, and a mere two weeks later, I’m scrambling to get the cards, the gifts, the meals all done! It would be funny if it wasn’t so so overwhelming.
It seems ironic that, since the dawn of the high-resolution smartphone camera, we’re all taking more pictures than ever, and yet doing very little with them— once they hit your social media feed, it’s pretty much end-of-life for most of them. Remember printing photos? I do too— especially how great it is to have a box or an album of them on the coffee table to flip through with friends and family. The ritual of dropping film off at the drugstore is no more, but thankfully, these print services make printing digital pictures as easy as saying “cheese.”
Go with the grain this season and pick up tech-cessories inspired by nature.
