My travel must-brings

travel must brings

People always ask me what gadgets I travel with. So when I was packing for a trip to visit the folks at HGTV in Knoxville this week, I took a snapshot of it all so you could see what I pack, and what I pack it in (equally important).

Turns out I forgot some stuff, so I’ve included more pictures below. Hope it’s helpful, and please share your travel kit must-haves in the comments below!

Pictured (clockwise-ish): Executive headphones by Beats, cables in leather cord tacos by This Is Ground, iPhone 5 with my ticket in Passbook, Fitbit Zip activity tracker, Icon HD headset by Jawbone, MacBook Air, Glasses by Barton Perreira, Baggu medium zip pocket in gold, Dodonotes notebook for iPhone, Mophie Juice Pack battery extender, iPad Mini with Pocket app installed for in-the-air reading, iPad Mini case by Clare Vivier, Apple headphones in leather gordito by This Is Ground, home made tech cleaning solution.

  1. I have a full extra set of charging cables and plugs, including a car charger. These are in their own travel bag that is “grab-n-go.” I never have to worry about forgetting one or crawling behind the nightstand to unplug one,. (It goes without saying that the iPhone and iPad always travel.)

    1. Micheleagogo— hey girl! The airline adapter is a plug for my laptop that fits in those “cigarette lighter” style plugs that airplanes sometimes have. WHenever I’m booking a ticket, I check to see if my row/seat has plugs and try to book accordingly, especially for a cross-country flight. 🙂

The Dodonotebook is this ingenious little mini notebook that your phone pops into. Great to take to a quick meeting, or for a doodle in the park. 🙂
