It’s oppressively hot here in Los Angeles, but that isn’t stopping me from daydreaming about plaid, wool and biker boots. No matter how long I live here in California, back to school time will always mean brisk chilly fall days (my favorite season… in weather and fashion).
Got a peephole on your front door? They’re kind of handy, except that you need to squint to see out, the clarity isn’t great, and if the person on the other side isn’t standing right in front of it, you won’t be able to tell if it’s the UPS guy or a solicitor.

There’s nothing more gut-wrenching than a break-up. It’s a ice-cream-tub-in-bed don’t-wanna-talk-to-anyone-but-can’t-stop-talking-about-it kind of whirlwind, especially when you didn’t see it coming. I had a few bad ones this year— but don’t worry, my marriage is still intact. My break-ups were with apps I loved.
Now that the days of obligatory towering speakers, bulky VHS machines and boxy tube TVs are over, you have lots of options to redesign your living room set-up according your personality and viewing habits.
If you’re like just about everybody on earth, your favorite thing isn’t washing windows. It takes time, it’s messy, and if you live in a city, you could do it every day and still have filmy panes. For a job like this, I say, “Bring in the robots!”
