There’s nothing more gut-wrenching than a break-up. It’s a ice-cream-tub-in-bed don’t-wanna-talk-to-anyone-but-can’t-stop-talking-about-it kind of whirlwind, especially when you didn’t see it coming. I had a few bad ones this year— but don’t worry, my marriage is still intact. My break-ups were with apps I loved.
On HuffPo, I got some closure, writing about apps I loved— like Manilla, Lemon Wallet, and Ness— that left me without warning. If this has ever happened to you (and I know it has cause you often email me when it does!) then you know the range of emotions can be overwhelming: betrayal, frustration… and, if the app stored a lot of your personal information, panic. It can be tough to know what to do, and it can make you wary to love again.
