I have known about Artifact Uprising for quite a while— I put one of their products on the Today Show a while back, and later in a video series I did for HGTV. They’re a company straddling paper and pixels— wanting to preserve the tactile, visceral pleasures of a photo or book, but realizing that we live increasingly in the digital world. They have a beautiful app that helps you pull photos from Instagram, Facebook, your phone or hard drive and turn them into beautiful prints, books, calendars and even large format wall art. And I mean beautiful. It’s tough to impress me, and these guys do it every time.
The stuff I bring to the Today Show is 100% completely and totally things I love— there is never paid placement, in fact it’s very much against the rules there. So I had discovered them on my own, and loved what they were doing. They were so grateful that they offered me a coupon code to create more books, and I’m embarrassed to admit that I let that coupon lapse because I could never find the time to sit down and make a photo book.
I am so blown away by the paper quality, the vibrant colors and deep blacks that make the pictures stand out, and the clean, gallery style layouts and cover designs. I am so excited to have made up for lost time, and I can’t wait to order more. Plus, I am going to reorder some of these for grandparents, because they came out so beautifully.
This post isn’t sponsored. I just wanted to share something cool that I love. Happy Friday!
